# What is Worksong?

> A short tour of Worksong and how Work belongs to it.

Worksong runs in a browser (`app.worksong.ai`) and as a phone app. The browser and the phone app are the same app. On a wide window you get a side rail and panes. On a phone you get a tab bar.

## The main areas

| Area | What you do there |
| - | - |
| Home | See what needs you: approvals and recent activity. |
| Chats | Talk to one Agent, or to several Agents in a Group. |
| Tasks | Give an Agent work that continues after the chat ends, then review it. |
| Work | Boards, items, docs, dashboards and automations for your team. |
| Agents | Create and edit your Agents: persona, memory, routines, tools. |
| Activity | Audit trail of what Agents did and what you approved. |

On the phone, Agents opens from rows on Home and Work, and the last tab is Profile. On the desktop rail, Agents has its own item.

## Where Work fits

Work is part of Worksong. It started as a separate code base called Boardy, and you may see that name in API addresses and some developer pages. In the product it is the **Work** tab, with your Agents available as members of your workspace. There is one documentation portal for both.
