A view is one of: | Type | Shows | | - | - | | Table | One row per item | | Kanban | Cards in lanes | | Calendar | Items on a calendar | | Timeline | Items over time | A view saves its own name, type, filters, sorting, grouping and the list of visible columns. Create, rename and delete views from the board. Deleting a view never deletes items. ## Forms A **form** creates items on one board. Each form field maps to a column of the board. * Create a form on a board, add the fields, then **publish** it. * A published form has a public page at `/form/`. People who are not members of your workspace can fill it in. * A public form writes through a restricted **intake member**. That member can only write to the form's board and the form's columns, and requests are rate limited. The submission is a normal, audited change. * Forms can accept file uploads. * A form can also list the items of another board for the visitor to browse before applying, for example open roles. * A form that is not published is not available on its public page. Signed-in members can also submit a form from inside Work. ## Dashboards A dashboard is a page of **widgets**. Create a dashboard in a workspace, then add widgets to it. | Widget | Shows | | - | - | | Count | One number | | Chart | A chart of values grouped by a column | | Table | Rows from a board | A widget reads one board and can use these aggregations: Count, Count distinct, Sum, Average, Min and Max. Sum, Average, Min and Max need a Number column. Lookup columns are ignored by dashboards, because their value is not stored. A widget only shows data that you may read. If you lose read access to the board, the widget is empty for you. ## Folders A workspace has folders for boards, dashboards and docs. Moving something into a folder changes where it is listed, not who can use it. ## Archive and delete Archive an item or a board to hide it. Archived items are left out of the board, search and dashboard counts, and cannot be edited until you restore them. Delete is also available. Archiving a board does not delete its items.
