# Files and projects

> Where files live and how projects group chats.

**My files** lists files from your chats and tasks. A file can be placed in more than one place (a chat, a task, an Agent's files); deleting the original removes it everywhere it was placed.

A **project** is a key you attach to Conversations. The project page lists its Conversations, saved files and project memories.
